Why must we take action?
Our Schools Need Help
Across western Jamaica, dozens of primary schools and high schools have been destroyed or severely damaged by the recent passage of Hurricane Melissa. Many are without electricity and water, and classes can no longer be held for students. These schools will take months to rebuild, but the students at these schools don't have months. Thousands of students who rely on these schools, especially with external exams looming, will be set back if we don't help. As a result, Eye of Hope was established to aid these affected students by supporting our schools and teachers. Our goal is to rebuild our schools, one classroom at a time, and to make education accessible for as many student as possible.
