Nannyville PEP Summer Camp with STEM Involvement
We hosted a summer camp in Nannyville in St. Andrew where we taught Math and English to PEP students preparing for exams, and exposed them to scientific experiments and projects to deepen their understanding of STEM.

Baking Soda and Vinegar Volcano
We crafted and painted volcanoes then watched them erupt! Vinegar is an acid and baking soda is a base so they react and create foam when carbon dioxide is rapidly released. Add some food colouring and boom!
Balloon-Powered Car
The balloons are filled with air using a straw. When the cars are released, the balloon pushes back the air and the air pushes back on the car causing it to accelerate. This is Newton's Third Law!
